Tracbel opens remote monitoring center for customer machines

The Tracbel Group opened Uptime Center, a remote monitoring center set up to monitor the health of equipment in customer operations. Based at the Sumaré (SP) unit, the new system is already working for products from Volvo Construction Equipment (excavators, loaders and articulated trucks) and Tigercat (forestry machines). It will gradually absorb machines from other brands represented by Tracbel.

The Uptime Center guarantees more intelligence in the machinery data management process. The system collects routine telemetry data, such as location and hour meter, and also gathers and processes information from vital equipment components, such as engine, transmission and axles.

With several screens in front of them showing the fleet of machines distributed throughout Brazil, the center's specialists monitor and evaluate this data daily.

They can know if an excavator is overdue for a service or about to be serviced, if a loader is reporting a lack of voltage in its battery, or if the engine oil temperature of an articulated truck is above the recommended level, among other things. many other situations.

More technology

With this system, specialists can see where the machines are, which mechanics are closest, check whether they are available or working with another customer and when they can start working, among various important information for service.

In case of any failures, most of the diagnoses are carried out remotely. If necessary, a technician is sent to the location where the equipment is already equipped with tools and all available information.

Tracbel states that this technology is used in favor of the customer and reinforces the company's commitment to providing service quickly, keeping the equipment working for as long as possible;

The new system helps a lot in scheduling and planning fleet services and increases equipment availability, in addition to helping to avoid unplanned stops and corrective maintenance costs.
